ALT-HOUSE is a holistic creative agency and visual production studio based in brooklyn, NEW YORK city. with origin in melbourne, australia, 2021, the agency has since specialised in global end-to-end asset creation with a deep regard for artistry and a focus on fashion, editorial, still-life, and press photography and motion.
ALT-HOUSE believes that competitive edge begins with creative edge; that storytelling in a visual format is resonant beyond the power of words on a page. That’s why atypical and left-of-field imagery is our raison d’être – because for us, distinctiveness among what one sees means distinctiveness among what one buys. Our work stands unyielding among an exhausted and oversaturated market of visual content.
We work with both established and next-generation creatives. Our network of collaborators spans photography, directorship, videography, art-direction, talent, styling, and hair- and makeup-artistry (with additional services as required). The mission to cultivate individuality in our output carries through to the communities we engage in its production, and we actively elevate oft-overlooked or marginalised creatives through our community support and mentorship programs.

OUR FOUNDER
ALT-HOUSE is owned and directed by Jess Brohier, a South-Asian-Australian photographer and creative director, based in New York city.
With roots in fine art and just shy of a decade’s worth of experience in commercial photography, Brohier’s expertise resides in both creative direction and fashion, press, still-life, and editorial photography. Her personal work explores surrealism, cultural + social identity and alternate contemplations of beauty.
Brohier’s clients include Prada beauty, maybelline new york, supergoop!, Nike, Adidas, New Balance, hanes, MECCA, COS, BONDS, Casetify. collaborators include capture one, nikon australia, i-D, VICE, Office magazine NYC, Schön! magazine, ignant and It’s Nice That.
